Alexander Green running for Mayor of New York City

Alexander Green has registered with the NYC BoE with an intention to run for Mayor, Mr Green who is an Independent is hoping to win over the liberal and left wing voters.

Although nothing is known about Mr Greens policies or his stance on many important issues facing NYC voters such as housing, education and the welfare system.

Mr Green is a Yugoslavian born with many leadership qualities which has drew many supports behind him such as the Workers Union which has thrown its support behind Mr Green.

QUOTE
Democratic Candidate George Renzi makes gains in The Bronx and recieves support of NYC Board of Education and NYC Times whilst Republican Candidate Sebastian Rossi has not made any major gains or recieved any support.

The NY Mayoral race is the slowest race in the history of New York but is going to be a very interesting showdown with Libertarian Candidate Yelma Green announcing her candidancy to run against the only candidate pratically Mr George Renzi who is running for the Democratic Party.

The Libertarian Movement in NY has grew over the years with most supporters having Liberal views, Yelma Green is the sister of late candidate Alexander Green who was running as an Independent in the race.

The cracks are starting to show in each party with membrrs vying for the top spot but in other news Carlos Sincero has been elected Chairman of NYC Democratic Branch.

Time will show who is the best candidate for NY and the Candidates Debate in the coming weeks should determine that.

BREAKINGBREAKINGBREAKING

Renzi wins Staten Island

Renzi: 16,261
Wickerman: 7,437

Renzi leads by 8,824 in Staten Island

OOC: Remember this is the most right wing of the boroughs, so Wickerman (viewed as more left wing of the two will do much worse here than across the rest of New York)

Polling to be delayed in Bronx as police confirm at least 2 dead and 4 injured as a direct result of gunfire outside Bronx polling station. Outgoing Mayor Bloomberg urged his successor to 'take a harder line on guns' and told reporters 'it is one of my biggest regrets that I didn't work harder for more gun regulation'.
